Clesta light, possible bad light bulb (L6a)

Today I repaired a light that was not broken.
Problem:
Dr suspected a bad bulb.  After changing the bulb he let it hang by its one wire.  He tested the light and of course it did not work.  Office staff called us in to repair the light.
Cause:
The Belmont bulb is a one wire bulb the rest of the housing from the bulb gets grounded to the metal of the light frame.  If the bulb just hangs it does complete the circuit with the rest of the light. Therefore it would not work.
Remedy:
Make sure bulb is in place when checking its function.

So the Dr did troubleshoot correctly, it was a bad bulb originally.  But when he replaced bulb and tested it by letting it hang down he made a boo-boo.
Please find attach below instructions on how to change the bulb.

[12] HALOGEN BULB CHANGING
  1) To install replacement halogen bulb, turn the light off and the turn lamp cover stopper
 counterclockwise ( 90°,1/4 turn ) to remove the lamp cover.
  2) Remove the lamp cover and disconnect the electrical connector of halogen bulb.
  3) Unlock the spring clip and pull the electrical wire of halogen bulb to remove
 the halogen bulb from the socket.
  4) Attach the electrical wire and insert a new bulb into the housing.
  5) After the new bulb is seated in the housing. Insert and lock the spring clip in position.
  6) Reattach the lamp cover.

I started Allstar Dental Inc with the hope to do good things. In the past I worked at companies where the employees did not care about the work they did.  The result was always sloppy work with the attitude that someone else would fix it.  I believe we should strive for perfection.  There are times when mistakes happen but the character of a company is shown by how they handle the situation.

We truly want to help our clients to be successful by repairing their equipment in a timely manner at a reasonable price and selling dependable equipment.  In turn we would like our clients to reciprocate by helping us become successful by supporting us in merchandise and equipment purchases.
